CLEAR replaces all the old and troublesome components in a traditional GE, EMD or ALCO locomotive. The original engine, traction electrics, control systems, compressor, radiators and dynamic brakes are all replaced.

CLEAR offers improved economy and emissions, whilst utilising existing capital components like platforms and bogies/trucks. As a result of its unique design, Global Locomotive can provide solutions for your company across the globe. Our product works in the heat of the Australian desert to the cold of the Alaskan mountains.

After meeting with your key staff, the Global Locomotive team will review your donor locomotives, provide detailed proposals to meet local operating and financial requirements, and help ease the CLEAR upgrades through your company’s approval process..

Our kit based solution that can be installed in either:

• your own workshops
• by one of our accredited partners
• or alternatively at our new Global Locomotive Technology Center near Olympia, Washington State, for our North American customers
